Section II: Our State/Our Cultures: Regional Essays

Submitted by Colorado Counci... on Fri, 2006-12-15 06:20.

Five essays, each written by a different author, explore the people and places of five different regions of Colorado. Each essay has a unique style containing different types of information and activities, brought to life with color photographs throughout.

Looking at each essay briefly (as described below) provides a good quick overview of the entire state, its many interesting cultures, and the local traditions that contribute to that special character that is Colorado.

All five essays are organized in the same way: The cover page contains a photograph and a brief introduction; the second page contains contents, standards and resources; the third page has the author’s bio and the beginning of the essay.
