I was blown away this morning when, on NPR, I heard that Leonard Cohen had been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Then, on the heels of that announcement, it was declared he is going BACK ON TOUR.

Today is Thanksgiving day in Canada, where I grew up. Thanksgiving in Canada is a somewhat different celebration than in the US. In the US the day fetes the survival of the Pilgrims for a year. In Canada it is a harvest celebration.

We had a little celebration at our home in Colorado.

I'm taking the day off blogging anything of substance in celebration of the day.

I am reeling at today's news from Canada. In a vote of 266 to 16, in the House of Commons, a motion passed to recognize the Quebecois as a nation.

This is going to open one maelstrom in Canadian Politics--watch out Supreme Court. You have some interesting cases coming.
