Today is Labour Day in the U.S. and Canada. I, for one, enjoyed having a sleep in this morning. My extra day off will probably have me figuring out how best to integrate our new HD DVD player into our home theatre. I don't have enough inputs on my reciever for the different pieces in our home theatre any longer. It may take a trip out to Best Buy to see what they have on clearance because as it stands now, we have to listen to the new player through the TV speakers which strips surround sound.

We're planning on making peach sorbet this afternoon as well. A nice, relaxing, easy going day.

Drupal 6 beta is to be released tomorrow. I am very excited and shocked (in a good way). The reason I'm shocked, is that this particular instance of Drupal is running 4.7 and my first post was made here October 31, 2006. That is less than a year ago. Since then 5 has come and will soon go. I expect that I will upgrade to 6 once it is in final release and leapfrog over 5 entirely.

The hope is that 6 will be at a point when a release candidate will be available by Drupalcon Barcelona, just over two weeks away.
