I went to Virginia Tech for my Master's. I actually went to Tech because of George Thorn--an amazing man to learn from. But there were quite a few people who had an impact on me and Barbara was at the top of the list.

Her gentle sense of humour infused every aspect of her easing into her teaching and mentoring. Barbara spent a semester with me helping me hone a script based loosely on my own life experiences. She eked a voice out of me that I wouldn't have found otherwise. The piece, MobiusTrip, was multicast on the Internet in 1997--wow, ten years ago. Nobody was engaged on that kind of work. I captured it and recently uploaded it scene by scene to Revver.
