We were still without bags today and haven't had a change of clothes in 4 days. We've continued to clean some clothing in the sink and manage the best we can. Late in the day, we took the train to Lyngby where there are lots of shops. I managed to find a pair of jeans and a t-shirt that fit tolerably well, but all my wife came away with was a t-shirt. I hate to say it, but the lack of immediate clean clothing is colouring this vacation in a very poor way.

This evening we had word that the SAS was delivering luggage at about 9:00 pm this evening. We received a phone call from the front desk with word that we had bags. The three of us rushed downstairs, all eager to be in fresh clothes. Unfortunately, only two of the three bags had been located and delivered. The missing bag was my wife's. Of all of us, she probably needs her bag the most. My daughter and I are in somewhat better shape clothing-wise.

So..so far our flight was delayed and rerouted, my kiddo's birthday canceled (although it will be re-scheduled for tomorrow), our luggage was lost, and we've spent most of the trip trying to a) find clothes, b) figuring out how to make due with almost no clothing, c) spending too much money on clothes we much already own. None of us are particularly happy right now.

On the bright side, we met with a Drupal colleague today--Morten--and had a pleasant lunch with him in a restaurant shaped like a trolley. He helped me work out my Internet connectivity issue for the rest of the trip--we'll be at cottages without ready access. I had planned on getting a 3G sim from a local provider and using one of my brother's unlocked 3G phones to connect to my laptop.

So, if you have any pull with the luggage gods, please send good vibes in our direction.

This trip has got to improve.
