RedBlue AmericaSubmitted by matthew on Wed, 2008-01-16 21:25 |
Today it was announced that RedBlueAmerica launched. The site was conceptualized by Scripps Entrepreneurial Ventures and designed/developed in Drupal by pingVision.
The site is a "re-do" of an earlier site pingVision designed as a proof of concept. This version features articles, that could be seen as centrist, paired with two other articles that champion each side of the argument. Users are invited to vote on where their opinion falls within the issue. The site also includes polls, blogs, and member messaging.
Are you red? Are you blue? You might be surprised where you fall on different issues.
Congratulations to the Scripps team--John Temple, Linda Sease, Allen Klosowski, John Stancliffe, red moderator Ben Boychuk and blue moderator Joel Mathis--on a successful launch.
