Drupal Association Elections 2016

Election 2016As you might know, I’ve been an elected At Large member of the Drupal Association board for the last two years. I’ve been chairing the Governance Committee. Some highlights of that work includes changes that implemented term limits for Board members, extension of the term for At Large member to two years, liaising with the community on issues they wanted to discuss, and a myriad of activities related to good governance. I’ve very much enjoyed working on your behalf and really would like to continue that work for another two years.

I need your help. There are a few things you can do - none of them are too onerous.

  • Check out https://bitly.com/drupal2016 - this is my candidate profile. Share this in your own social networks and indicate that you intend to vote for me! My twitter account is @creech and please also use the hashtag #VoteDrupal
  • Ask a question on my profile.
  • VOTE. Anyone with an account on Drupal.org (D.O), who has been active in the past 12 months, and created that account before 1 March is eligible to vote. They first need to use their D.O login details to login to https://association.drupal.org/user to be added to the electoral roll, and then they will be able to vote. Voting opens on 7 March. Polls are open for one week and close 23:59 18 March UTC.
  • Encourage others to vote - I’d particularly LIKE that vote, but part of what I’d like to see is the number of votes casted increase this year from last.

I'd love to represent you for another two years. Please give me the chance to finish up the work that I've started with the Board. If you'd like to chat with me, my number is on my blog. Just make sure you indicate who you are on the prompt.
